For Alaskan Veterans With Disabilities
Challenge Alaska's Warrior Program's purpose is to offer recreation and sports programs for Veterans of our Armed Forces who have a disability. Our Warrior Program is created to allow Veterans to come together in a safe environment that promotes camaraderie, teamwork and community through sports and recreation activities in a Therapeutic environment.
What Does The Warrior Program Offer?
We offer a variety of recreation opportunities throughout the year to include but not limited to: Ice Hockey, cycling, downhill skiing and snowboarding, and XC Skiing/ biathlon. Warrior Program Eligibility Requirements.
In order to participate in our Warrior Program, Veterans must have a VA disability rating, have a "pending" status with the VA for a rating, or have a disability that would be eligible for a VA Rating. For any questions on this please feel free to reach out to us directly.
Veterans with a disability are welcome to participate in our ParaSport Alaska programs as well if they choose, but our Warrior Programs are only for Veterans.
